Streets BannerThe Street Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of public works facilities including:

  • Streets Signage & Markings
  • Storm drains & Channels
  • Traffic controls
  • Related facilities

The Division uses State and local standards to ensure protection of both public and private property using high standards of service.

PARKWAY MAINTENANCE
City Council Resolution 1977-15 (ROW Responsibility) establishes that it is the responsibility of property owners within the City of Banning to maintain all irrigation and landscaping within public rights of way that abut privately owned property. This includes features including turf, shrubs, trees, irrigation systems, and any other non-sidewalk features.
