Fire and Rescue

The City of Banning contracts for fire protection with the Riverside County Fire Department/CalFire. Currently there is 1 fire station and 2 fire engines staffed for emergency response in Banning. The downtown station, Station 89, is located at 172 N. Murray St. This station houses the staffed Engine 89, Rescue 89 and Engine OES 240. The second staffed engine is Engine 20 which is currently housed at 1550 E. 6th Street in Beaumont. Each engine is staffed with 3 personnel.

The Fire Department provides the full range of emergency response capabilities to the City. The response capabilities include:

      • Full Range Fire Suppression
      • Medical Response (Paramedic capability)
      • HazMat Response
      • Rescue
