The Banning Police Dept. will assist the public with providing fingerprinting services for pre-employment or licensing requirements. The Department uses a Live Scan service, which is a computer based fingerprinting system that digitally captures the fingerprints and electronically transmits them to the Calif. Dept of Justice or the FBI.

Scheduling:

Thursdays only from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. No appointment needed, walk in only.

Fees: City of Banning Rolling fee is $15.00 + DOJ and FBI fees if applicable. CASH ONLY EXACT CHANGE.

All fees are required at the time of your Livescan.

Fees vary depending on the type of request. You can access a fee list by going to the California Attorney General’s Website (https://oag.ca.gov/), and search live scan fees. In addition to the fees required by the State and the FBI, the City of Banning also charges a rolling fee.

Identification & Forms:

You must present a valid picture ID and have the Department of Justice form BCII8016, which will be proved by the agency requesting the Livescan. The BCII8016 form must contain the agency’s Origination Agency Identifier (ORI) number and be completed filled out prior to taking finger prints. 

We do not do Ink card prints.
