When purchasing a monthly pass it is only valid for the month you are purchasing it (it will expire at the end of that month), we do not pro-rate nor do we offer refunds (this includes days passes and 10-ticket booklets).

Any passenger that has a Medicare card and wants to receive the discounted rate, must fill out the City of Banning Disabled I.D. card application, take to your physician and if approved with the proper required documents will receive the first disabled identification card at no charge.
Each card is valid for 3-years and the passenger must re-apply at the expiration date and the cost of the I.D. will then be $5.00. There are no refunds for lost, stolen and/or damaged I.D. Cards.

Token Transit-valid only on Banning buses
If you are able to download the Token Transit bus pass/ticket app, please text TOKEN to 41411 for a download link to your phone. When boarding the Banning buses you will then show your phone to the driver to access the bus. Must be purchased for the City of Banning, other city purchases are not accepted.
WHERE DO I PURCHASE PASSES & TICKETS?
Day Passes are only sold by drivers for Routes #1, The Banning Circulator 5/6
Monthly Passes are sold at: the Banning Community Center, 789 N. San Gorgonio Avenue
(Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.)
10 - 1 ride ticket booklets are sold at: the Banning Community Center, 789 N. San Gorgonio Avenue and at the Banning City Hall, 99 E. Ramsey, at the Utility billing counter. (Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.) & at the Community Center Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
(When you purchase a Day Pass, a Monthly Pass or a 10-ticket booklet and plan to travel to Cabazon you are still required to pay an additional $.25 zone fare to Cabazon's South side).
If you are transferring from an RTA bus you must have purchased their day pass or monthly pass to be able to transfer to Routes 1, or the Banning Circulator 5/6 and you will still be required to pay a Zone fare of $.25 to and from Cabazon. When you return back to Sun Lakes Village or Walmart to connect with RTA you will have to pay our fare of $1.15 per person for Routes #1, and the Banning Circulator 5/6 Route plus the $0.25 Zone fare, we do not honor Access cards.
We do not offer Jury Duty free rides.
If you plan to transfer to an RTA bus from Routes 1 & The Banning Circulator 5/6, you need to purchase a Day or Monthly Pass from Banning Pass Transit and RTA will accept those only as a transfer. Should RTA have zone fare charges you will be required to pay their additional fees.
WHERE CAN I GET A SCHEDULE?
Schedules are available at: Banning Community Center, City Hall, Banning Chamber of Commerce, Banning Library, Social Services on 4th & Ramsey, Social Services on Ramsey & Hargrave, James Venable Community Center in Cabazon, Banning Mental Health, San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, Banning Health Department, Mt. San Jacinto Banning campus on Westward & Sunset and/or you can request one be mailed to you.
Banning Transit Drivers also have schedules on board each of the Buses
Routes 1 & The Banning Circulator Route or you can view them on our website

WHERE CAN I GET AN ADA OR DISABLED APPLICATION FOR BANNING/CABAZON?
These applications can be picked up at:

Banning, CA (located inside the Banning Community Center)
Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
You can also request that the application be mailed to you and/or emailed to you by calling 951-922-3252.
Banning Connect Transit day passes, 10-ticket booklets & monthly passes are accepted by the Banning Connect Transit system buses only.
If you purchased a Day pass or Monthly pass from RTA Route 31 you can transfer at the Sun Lakes Village or at the Wal-Mart transfer points with an additional $0.25 Zone fare if traveling to Cabazon to cross over into the Southern portion of Cabazon.
All routes stop in residential areas at the designated corners of the route only. In commercial areas buses will only stop at designated stops.
The Mt. San Jacinto GoPass IS NOT accepted on the Banning Connect Transit System buses. They are only valid in San Jacinto, Hemet areas. Changes to the Banning Connect Transit System went into effect on May 20, 2024.
